About Us
The Collier Children’s Advocacy Center has served the community since 1986, providing coordinated support, investigation, and treatment for the most severe cases of child abuse. Each year, we assist over 1,500 children and their non-offending caregivers through specialized programs focused on healing and justice.

Purpose of Position
Provide specialized therapeutic services to child victims of abuse, their siblings, and non-offending caregivers in line with the agency’s mission.

Major Job Functions

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children affected by abuse, trauma, or family violence, as well as their siblings and non-offending caregivers

  • Develop treatment plans and complete psychosocial assessments

  • Conduct psychological testing to guide and monitor treatment

  • Provide crisis counseling and safety planning

  • Facilitate group therapy and parenting education sessions

  • Maintain clinical records and document progress

  • Participate in case staffings and collaborate with team members

  • Provide court testimony as needed

  • Complete required annual training

  • Moderate computer proficiency

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Effective time management and multitasking

  • Resourceful, with a focus on quality outcomes

  • Self-motivated and dependable

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends as needed

  • Positive attitude and sense of humor

Other Requirements

  • Collaborate closely with Lead Therapist/Team Psychologist and agency staff

  • Some local travel required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must carry professional liability insurance

  • Uphold client confidentiality and privacy at all times

Pay: $65,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Master's (Required)

Experience:

  • Child Abuse & Family Counseling: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • Spanish and/or Creole (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • MH, MSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or Licensed Eligible (Preferred)
