Pinwheels @ the Pier

Pinwheels at the Pier: A Symbol of Hope and Prevention

On the morning of April 18, 2025, as the sun rises over the Gulf, something magical will take shape on the sands of Naples Pier—a shimmering sea of blue and silver pinwheels, spinning in the breeze. More than just a stunning sight, this pop-up art installation is a powerful reminder that every child deserves a safe and happy childhood.

Each year, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County plants this breathtaking display in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. It’s not just the largest Pinwheels for Prevention garden in the country—it’s the only one set against the backdrop of a tropical beach, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

Families are invited to walk through the display, take photos, and reflect on the importance of protecting our children. For little ones drawn to the sparkle, a special supply of pinwheels will be available for them to plant in the sand, letting them take part in the movement for change.

Every year, Collier CAC provides free services to more than 1,500 children and families, offering hope, healing, and justice to those who need it most. But we can’t do it alone.

Come be part of something bigger. See the magic. Share the message. Take a stand for children.
